What happens if I reduce the advice fee on a client's account?

If you wish to reduce an ongoing advice fee on your client's account, we can accept such instructions from you via email. This includes the scenario where you wish to turn off the OFA on the account or dial the fee down to zero.

Please note:

  • we will treat this as a change in the ongoing fee arrangement and accordingly amend the anniversary date on the account to the date we receive your instruction to reduce the fee, and
  • should you subsequently wish to increase the fee or turn the fee on, the client's authorisation consenting to this change in fees will be required.
